PICTURES THAT TELL A STORY

In Las Vegas you could call this a lucky shot. Actually it was more perspiration than luck.  With the permission of the casino, I shot dozens of pictures at Black Jack and Roulette tables, using models who were casino workers. This hand is demonstrating an illegal move, touching the chips of a winning hand before they are counted. Some cheaters palm extra chips and try to add them to the winning stack.

I asked a dealer what happened when the casino catches someone cheating? He said, "We call the Las Vegas Gaming Authority to arrange to have the cheater addressed."  I asked what happened in the old days. Answer: In some casinos they were taken to the basement and had their arms broken. True or not, it makes an interesting story.
