Why shouldn't a guidebook feature the destinations travelers most want to see? For a year we surveyed which attractions and destinations travelers coming to Williamsburg most wanted to see. With the cooperation of the Williamsburg Hotel & Motel Association we posted a "Free Guidebook" link on WH&MA's website and thousands of visitors downloaded chapters about their favorite places. We've included their top 41 choices - from Colonial Williamsburg and Busch Gardens to their favorite places in Yorkown, Jamestown, Richmond, Hampton, Newport News and Virginia Beach - all within driving distance of Williamsburg.
Why shouldn't a book about having fun be fun to read? Kids coming to Colonial Williamsburg make their own fun, but they also can come home with lifetime memories of "meeting" Thomas Jefferson or watching an awesome fife and drum corps marching and fifing down Duke of Gloucester Street, or going on a night "ghost hunt" for Colonial spirits.
