PICTURES THAT TELL A STORY

"Feel the Music" when you take a picture of a band. It may sound strange but listening to the music when you're photographing a band or orchestra can improve your pictures. As you take longer optical zoom lens pictures, the emotion that you feel can make you focus rapidly on different scenes. When The Big Band of Sweden, a dedicated group of young people playing Christian and other music gave a concert at the King of Glory Lutheran Church in Williamsburg, I took a number of pictures. My favorite is this one that gave me the "feeling" of the great music as well as a chance to capture the pattern of the instruments. Patterns often make better pictures. If this group comes to your area this summer, don't miss the music, the pictures  and the "feeling."
