PICTURES THAT TELL A STORY

In a Pennsylvania backyard I encountered a squirrel who seemed determined to defend his territory at all costs.  The closer I approached, the more he stared at me and didn't move. Actually I was following the mantra of many photographers. Get closer. Get closer. Even approach your subject or use an optical zoom.  Do not use your digital zoom. It only magnified pixels and can distort your picture.  I dubbed this little warrior the "Napoleon Squirrel" because he had his arm tucked against his stomach, exactly like the post of one of the world's most famous generals.
